Inclusive Info. Mapping Project
In partnership with Washington Trails Association (WTA), this research project incorporates a thorough investigation of WTA’s online resource to uncover any structural biases imbedded so that evidence-based recommendations could be developed so their resource can be more inclusive and empowering for all users.
International UX: Localization of French “Crows” in Japan
Using the theories, models, and methodologies for studying the role of culture as it pertains to human-centered design, this research study evaluated how to redesign a French ski brand’s (Black Crows) website so it could be effective and compelling in the Japanese market.
Sensory Time Keeping
An intensive research study and design project created to explore the relationship between information technology and time. This project specifically explored how our circadian rhythm is interconnected to our various sensory channels and how that can be utilized in various innovations and designs for time management.
Social Media & Image Sharing
A qualitative and quantitate research study that explores how society increasingly utilizes visual images as modes of self-expression and self-representation, and how those types of creative expressions manifests in the social media environment.
Defining Community
A generative qualitative research study exploring the foundational concept of community and what it means to prospective and current REI Co-op customers. This generative research findings laddered to the strategic evolution of REI’s community digital product: Conversations.
